Gender Equality Plan
Planck Technologies AS, July 2025. Our plan for building an inclusive, gender-balanced team as we scale.
At Planck Technologies, we believe that diversity drives innovation. As a deep-tech startup at the forefront of technological advancement, we are committed to building an inclusive and equitable workplace from the ground up.
Current status
We are a small but growing team, currently composed of:
- 1 female CEO (founder)
- 3 male team members, including our CTO
- 4 advisors (1 female)
While our current gender ratio reflects the early-stage nature of our company, we are committed to fostering a balanced and inclusive environment as we scale.
Our commitment
We aim to:
- Promote gender balance in all roles, especially in technical and leadership positions.
- Ensure equal opportunities in recruitment, development, and compensation.
- Foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and combats unconscious bias.
Our goals
As we grow, we will work toward the following targets:
- Short-term (1 to 2 years):
- Reach at least 30% female representation across the team.
- Ensure inclusive hiring practices and unbiased evaluation criteria.
- Mid-term (3 to 5 years):
- Achieve a minimum 40/60 gender balance.
- Ensure equal access to leadership and technical roles.
- Long-term (5 to 10 years):
- Maintain a sustainable gender balance (ideally 50/50 across all levels).
- Eliminate any gender-based disparities in pay, promotion, or recognition.
Key actions
- Inclusive hiring: We will actively seek diverse candidates and ensure our job descriptions and outreach are inclusive.
- Bias awareness: All team members will undergo training on unconscious bias and inclusive collaboration.
- Transparent growth paths: We will define clear, equitable criteria for promotions and leadership opportunities.
- Annual review: We will assess our progress annually and adjust our goals and actions accordingly.
