From 1,400+ applications, 100 selected (Planck is here), then 20 semifinalists on the Startup Stage on 18 November, 3 finalists, and 500,000 euros equity-free for the winner. Day 0, 17 November: Planck pitches at the EIT Rocket Up Demo Day.
Planck is one of the Slush 100 at Slush 2026, Helsinki, 18-19 November.

Planck Technologies was selected as one of the Slush 100 at Slush 2026 from over 1,400 applications, accounting for around 7% of the start-ups that applied. Slush will take place in Helsinki on 18-19 November, gathering more than 12,000 people, three in four of whom are start-ups or investors. The Slush 100 is its startup competition.

What happens next

The first cut was the selection for the 100. Wave Ventures will now review a one-minute pitch from each of the 100 candidates and select 20 semi-finalists. These semi-finalists will pitch on the Startup Stage on the morning of 18 November in front of representatives from General Catalyst, NEA, Cherry and ICONIQ. The three finalists will then compete for €500,000 in equity-free funding. All 100 participants are listed on the Slush Meeting Tool with a Slush 100 tag, enabling investors and partners at the event to find us.

Day 0: the EIT Rocket Up Demo Day

The day before, on Tuesday 17 November, Day 0 of Slush, Planck pitches at the EIT Rocket Up Demo Day. Rocket Up is the six-month go-to-market programme of the EIT Community Supernovas initiative, for women-led technology companies scaling across Europe. Planck, led by Dr. Maryam Ghadrdan, Founder & CEO, joined the 2026 cohort in the spring. The programme starts with choosing and validating a new market with a business mentor, moves on to building the entry strategy with a regional expert, and closes with the Demo Day at Slush.

Why it matters for Planck

Our case to investors is specific. Planck's AI platform searches the full library of advanced porous materials together with the systems they run in, and ranks every material-process pair on purity, recovery, energy and cost. The platform is at TRL 6: applied in paid industrial work, including CO₂ capture screening for a Nordic carbon-capture client, and validated against laboratory measurements. Planck also runs an ESA-funded project on adsorbed oxygen storage for space. The Slush 100 puts that work in front of the investors who fund the step from validated platform to industrial deployment.

Meet us in Helsinki

Planck will be in Helsinki for the Demo Day on 17 November and for both days of Slush. If you invest in deep tech, or work on a gas separation or storage challenge in industry or space, we would like to meet you there.
