We are proud to announce our selection into Cohort 1 of the ACCEND Accelerator, a European Union-funded programme supporting high-potential deep-tech scale-ups advancing smart city solutions, including next-generation energy technologies.
ACCEND brings together a consortium of leading European ecosystem builders and innovation agencies, including the European Innovation Council (28 Digital) and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), Edinburgh Innovations, Open & Agile Smart Cities & Communities (OASC), CodeBase, Startup Poland, NCSR “Demokritos”, and several other strategic partners.
The programme is specifically designed for scale-ups transitioning from advanced development to real-world deployment. It provides access to testbeds and public-sector challenge owners, cross-border pilot and validation opportunities, capital access support and strategic mentorship from leading European innovation actors.
Cohort 1 includes 28 selected companies across Europe working across smart city domains, including energy systems, digital infrastructure, urban sustainability, and data-driven solutions.
As cities transition toward cleaner, more resilient infrastructure, collaboration between technology developers, municipalities, and ecosystem builders becomes critical.
Through ACCEND’s network, we are actively exploring strategic partnerships in energy infrastructure and urban sustainability, public-private pilot deployments, cross-border collaboration opportunities, and global ecosystem expansion beyond Europe.
If you are a city authority, innovation agency, corporate partner, or investor interested in collaborating in energy and smart city transformation, we welcome the opportunity to connect.
